At Lake Mount Church of Christ, we believe that faith is not just something that happens in our minds. Real faith in Jesus does something. James said "Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds." (Jas 2:18). When we understand what Christ has done for us, and how much He loves us, it changes everything. We should be so overwhelmed with love and gratitude that we can't wait to share that love with others. And that's what "next steps" are all about; rolling up our sleeves and getting to work in the Kingdom. It's about building relationships with other Christians. It's about taking our faith beyond the worship service and sharing it with the world. We don't do good works to be saved, Christ took care of that on the cross. We do good works because we've been saved. So keep scrolling, and let's take some next steps together!
