This year will be the second year that Lake Mount Church of Christ has partnered with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host this FREE event! We are expecting to celebrate at least 100 Honored Guests. Night to Shine is a great opportunity for the community to work together to celebrate individuals who often get overlooked or left out. From the red carpet to the dance floor, every Honored Guest is celebrated, crowned a King or Queen, and reminded just how deeply they are loved by God.

Dear Honored Guests,

We can’t believe your night is almost here! We are so excited to get to share this memorable evening with you!

To ensure we all have the best time, please read some of the tips below.

• Being registered before you attend the event is crucial for a smooth night! You can do so at lakemountchurchofchrist.org/shine

• Dress-up! Kings: rent a tux, wear a suit, or whatever you are most comfortable in! Queens: wear your prom dress, a formal gown, or your favorite dress for dancing!

• Come ready to shine! Make sure your hair and make-up are done and ready for your red-carpet event!

• Check-in begins at 6:00 PM. Please do NOT arrive before 6:00 PM. 

• Once parked, Kings and Queens will enter the main doors under the overhang. There will be a separate entrance for any guest who would like a low-key entrance.

• Coat check will be when you enter the building.

• From here, you will be guided to check in and receive your lanyard. Please wear your lanyard all night and keep them visible to others.

• Here, you will meet your buddy, and your fun night begins!

• Dinner will be served after your red-carpet premiere.

• We have many different activities planned throughout the night: dancing, photo opportunities, karaoke, trolley rides, hair/make-up touch ups and extras stations, shoeshine stations, face painting and more! All events are on our main floor, and rooms will be labeled.

• For the safety for all involved in our night, there will be an EMT, law enforcement, a buddy for each honored guest, and a sensory room.

• No medication administration or bathroom assistance will be offered by the volunteers.

• Caregivers and Parents who are staying on the premises…there will be a respite room for you to enjoy the night! There will be food and a coffee bar!

• Caregivers and Parents who are picking up their King or Queen at the end of the night...Plan to arrive around 8:45 p.m. At 8:45, you are welcome to enter the building and join your King/Queen in the dance area for the closing prayer and last dance!
